The shaping program factors in changes to the distance from the tail to the seat. These are calibrated to calculate the exact amount of foam to use for volume and buoyancy. What does this mean ? The waveski will float what ever size person it is built for AND still perform.

DEKKA designs can be matched to individual characteristics surfers (i.e. recognising physiology and ability). Beginners, enthusiasts or serious competitors all with varying surfing styles are catered for within each custom shaped design. However, DEKKA performance characteristics are retained whilst creating your waveski.

A three stage shaping process occurs:

* Customer specifications influence software manipulations of the generic DEKKA blueprint shape.
* This is followed by 3 dimensional presentation of a "virtual" waveski.
* The final shaping is perfectly recreated with a computer controlled routing process.

The adjustments to suit personal preferences are limitless but you still retain proven DEKKA design & performance characteristics. Standard construction DEKKA waveskis weigh in at only 7-8kg's. Lightweight carbon, even less.! Choose from standard construction materials or have it made extra strong. Competition standard models also have the option for carbon reinforcing.
